There was this lonely tree in the middle of the ocean with enough land for only him.

The only thing this tree ever hoped for other than more land was its friend to come back.

So many birds flied by like speeding planes over little P.E.I.

The tree became so lonely that it felt like it just wanted to die.

Until one day a bird came crashing in like a pitchers ball being thrown at home base.

The tree said "You can stay but you can't say "Bye."."

So this wounded bird repeated one line.

So when this bird was all healed up and said "Bye."

The tree said that one line "We'll share memories forever in a closed chest filled

When I step out into the light I feel rejoiced,

But I don't feel strong so I move on and eat some pizza,

As I grab on to a slice of pepperoni pizza I get my guns,

Then I shoot away until dawn when the sun goes away,

Then as the moon rises I grab my sword and slash away,

That's why they call me Dante.

I created this using Gimp Photoshop for my PS3 Theme Demo.

"You have Dante and Nero in the middle to represent their lives, and the Savior in the background to represent Sparda. On Dante's side, you have the story of his life. You have Lady, representing the beginning. Lucia, representing the end. Trish, his mother. Gloria, her other half. Vergil, his brother who he had to fight and kill, but deep down, he still loves him because in the end, Vergil is his twin brother and they did everything together when they were kids. Arkham, who started his brother on the whole thing in Devil May Cry 3 that awakened Dante's demonic side.

Wallpapers are right up my alley, so I decided to critique this one. I know that this is still the best you ever did on GIMP (or at least I think so, correct me if I'm wrong), so I'll point out the good points and the ones that I think could use a little bit of work (trust me, that's not a lot of things).

The Good

This will be the longest, I assure you. The one thing about this wallpaper that I find the most interesting is the way you made Gloria "pop out" of Trish. It's been a year since I've been doing wallpapers and I still can't figure out how to do that. I try, but I don't get it as good as you.

Everything is placed in a non cluttered manner. You can make out everyone easily and it's not as if you were struggling to fit everyone in the image itself.

I don't need to go on about how you placed everyone, since that's mentioned in your artist's comments.

Critique

The one thing that I think looks a bit strange is that Dante is suddenly cut off. That's because of the way the picture was, I know, but it just looks strange in my eyes. This is a bit of the perfectionist regarding these talking, but the leftover background areas after using the magic tool irk me and make me want to get rid of them. There's also the sudden cut off with Dante's sword, and the area around Nero's hair that has black stuff around it.

My advice regarding this is that you could have found a different picture to use that have the same feel (Dante and Nero fighting). I know there's at least one other picture you could have used that would have looked a bit better because it doesn't suddenly cut off (or, it cuts off, but the cut off parts are easy to hide behind other characters, as it's just hair from what I remember).

Overall, this is quite a good wallpaper for the games. I know that you don't like doing wallpapers because of the time and the fact you need patience, but it's still good. Nice job.

Ah, this is the original picture, huh? This is pretty good for someone your age, I must say. Leave it to my love to decipher a Devil May Cry picture. He's such a nerd, but I guess--yeah. Stopped myself before I grossed you out, hah.

What I'm trying to say is that you did a good job after all of the Skye rambles. So...good job.
